What type of computer do you have at the moment? Is this the computer you've always wanted or it just the opposite - some junker? Nowadays there are hundreds of options, so you better check them out. I don't see why you have to settle for a Tandy 1000.
 
Even if it's not a Tandy 1000 that you have, my point concerns price. If we re talking about the current computer prices, we should say that there is a great variety of them.
