| Get a Guarantee on Used Cheap Computers |

I have always found it strange that computers, some of the most
important high-tech devices in the modern world, are so cheap and
easily replaced.
A thousand dollar computer today can go for 400 or 500 dollars in six months. If you've gone to any of the used computer warehouses, you know. Used cheap computers are everywhere. The problem is that use computers for sale are not all of even quality. If you buy a used refurbished computer, you are taking great risks. The people who work to refurbish computers do it as economically as possible. They buy the cheapest components so they can save money at every turn. Sometimes this turns out all right. Sometimes everything works perfectly for years. Other times, however, used cheap computers are lemons. You think you are saving 400 dollars, but in fact you're spending several hundred more on nothing. I would recommend that you never buy used cheap computers, unless you can get a guarantee. This can be hard to come by. Most of the people that refurbish used computers do not want to provide warranties. You see, they have no control over how long the used cheap computer lasts. For example, the hard drive can be going bad without showing any outward signs. It will function perfectly for a little while, and then suddenly the needle will slip and scratch the disc. Used cheap computers fail all the time, losing memory in the process. If you have failed to back up your computer, you can fall victim to one of these errors. You can literally lose months, or even years of work. For my money, the best buy computers are not the used ones, but the ones that are slightly outdated. If you're willing to spend a little bit more money on a computer that is a generation behind, you can get a great deal. These can be slightly more expensive than used cheap computers, but they work like new. They use parts that are outdated, but that have never been used before. Many of them will still run fast, and unlike the used cheap computers, they will have a long lifespan as well. If you are not driven to always buy the biggest, best, and newest, you can save a lot of money this way. Unless you get used cheap computers for almost nothing, I would recommend staying away from them at all costs. If you must use one, you should at least replace the hard drive. |
